All the articles in this blog are by majority about stock. So, you all must be wondering if it’s only stock in my personal investment portfolio.

The dedicated portfolio link is also that of stock. I haven’t shared about my overall personal investment portfolio and its breakups.

In this post, I will share details about it. My overall personal investment portfolio has 3 components: stock, income, and partnerships.

Stock Portfolio

In the personal investment of stock, I have shares of 10 companies listed in Bhutan Stock Exchange.

When I initially started investing in it, I had as many as 15 counters. With experience, I realized it’s too many and reduced to 10.

DWAL, BIL, BNBL, and TBL are counters where I hold the maximum. If it’s sector wise, it’s 43.1% in manufacturing, 30.7% in banking, and 26.2% in insurance.

I invest regularly in shares, as little as Nu.500. Stock trading is accessible with mobile phones as well.

Income Portfolio

This portfolio is to earn regular income to complement my active income and other passive income.

P2P lending is mostly in village. There are people lending at 5-8% interest per month, I give at 2%. I give 50% to my sister who works like my loan officer.

Since my insurance is a money back policy which is an investment linked policy, I put it as an investment.

Partnerships

These are not partnerships in a strict sense. It’s more of a lending to my friends or relatives in their private businesses/shops.

We agree on profit sharing patterns. Since none keep accounts, I end up getting whatever amount they feel reasonable.

Overall Portfolio

If I showcase the overview of my personal investment portfolio with their ratios, this is how it looks:

My personal investment portfolio is so simple. But it has been giving me decent returns – above what I can get from elsewhere.
